Mount Sorak Highest Mount in Taebaek

Minggu, 28 Juni 2009

Mount Sorak is situated on the east coast of the Korean Peninsula in the Taebaek Mountain range, which is composed of dissected granite and gneiss, with rocky hills and ridges.

Mount Sorak or Mount Seorak (Seoraksan) is the highest mountain in the Taebaek mountain range (태백산맥) in the Gangwon province in eastern South Korea. It is located in a national park near the city of Sokcho. After the Hallasan volcano on Jeju Island and Jirisan in the south, Seoraksan is the third highest mountain in South Korea. The Daechongbong Peak (대청봉) of Seoraksan reaches 1,708 metres (5,603 feet). The Taebaek mountain chain is often considered the backbone of the Korean peninsula.

Perhaps the most visited part of the mountain is the main entrance valley to the National Park, a fifteen minute drive from Seokcho city. The valley runs west to east with a paved road leading up to the park's entrance gate. This valley contains many beautiful sites and is well worth a day visit.

The Yukdam waterfall and the Biryeong waterfall (비룡폭포) are located on the left side of the valley, about a forty minute walk from the main car park. Ulsanbawi (울산바위) is a rock formation in the Seoraksan national park. The shape of Ulsanbawi is unique in the area. To reach the rocks you need to follow a hiking path and climb over 800 steps. On the way there, there are two temples and a spherical rock (Heundeulbawi, 흔들바위) which is located on top of a larger rock. This rock is about 5 metres (16 feet) high and can be moved with some effort. Thousands of people have already tried to push down Heundeulbawi, but nobody gets further than waggling the rock.

Yongsan Landmark Building Korea Tallest Building

Yongsan, located in downtown Seoul, means Dragon Hill. Yongsan or Yongsan-gu is also the site of Yongsan Garrison, a large United States military base. In the futuer, Yongsan will has the tallest building in Korean, and second tallest in the world, while now will be developed into an international business district.

On the 1.46 million-square-meter site around Yongsan subway station, a 620 meter-high landmark building, a hotel, business & residential facilities and large parks will be built.

The site is available for financial, telecom and entertainment companies. Its metropolitan transportation infrastructure and sufficient green space will make for an outstanding business environment.

If the plan is accepted, the proposed building will have 130-140 stories and become a new landmark for the city. The building is expected to promote growth in the area with the proposed construction of additional shopping malls and entertainment establishments in the Yongsan area where the U.S. military’s main base is located.

``If the building does not obstruct views of Mount Namsan from the Han River, it should have no problem being approved,’’ a city official said. ``Korail also asked us to designate residential areas adjacent to the new building, but it could affect transportation in the region. We will review the matter carefully,’’ he said.

Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon has said that the city needs new skyscrapers to strengthen its international competitiveness and draw more foreign tourists.

Buildings over 600 meters are very rare _ currently, the 508 meter-high Taipei Financial Center in Taiwan is the tallest building in the world with 101 stories while Dubai is constructing the 830 meter-high Burj Dubai Tower with 160 stories for completion before the end of next year.

Currently, the 234 meter-high Tower Palace apartment building in Togok-dong, southern Seoul, is the tallest building in Korea. However, construction projects for the 580 meter-high international business center in Sangam-dong, northern Seoul, and the 610 meter-high Inchon Tower in Songdo in the Inchon Free Economic Zone are being pushed.

“In Seoul, the planned 151-story Yongsan Landmark Building, at 2,046 feet, will tower over all the city’s existing structures, and even some nearby mountain peaks. “Seoul is the capital, so it must have the tallest building,” said Han Bong-seok, an executive at Korea Railroad, the national railway company, who heads the project to build the tower on the site of an old train yard. “This is for the pride of Seoul.

As I did not watch the Korean drama, I was told by my friend that Chuncheon Myeongdong was the place where the lead actor and actress were supposed to meet. Unfortunately, the actor met with an accident on the way and was not able to turn out for the appointment. I guess that was the point when the sad story started.

Jeju Island best bars pubs casinos beach

Jeju Island (제주도) formerly Cheju Island, is an island off the southern coast of South Korea.Jeju Island, also known as the "Island of the Gods," is a popular vacation spot for Koreans and many Japanese. Scenic beaches, waterfalls, cliffs and caves lie in harmony, and the mild weather makes Jeju island an even more ideal tourist destination.

Although tourism is one of the main industries on the island, many of the hotels and other tourist areas are run by mainland companies, so much of the income never gets put back into the local economy. Also, since the attractions are geared towards tourists, many of the entrance fees can be hefty (although the locally owned and operated ones tend to be cheaper). Similar to Gyeongju and some other areas, local residents can enter most places for free or for a steeply discounted price.

Jeju has so many nightlife attractions. Bars,Pubs, and casino can be found easily in the city especially located in the "old city" near city hall. This is where the young college kids and Jeju-do's English teachers hang out.

Nightlife in Jeju, South Korea is abound with many options namely Bars&pubs in Jeju, Casinos in Jeju and nightclubs in Jeju. One of the high points of nightlife in Jeju is the wide array of bars&pubs in Jeju. Most of the bars and pubs here are operated by the luxurious super deluxe hotels and resorts in Jeju.

Seoul Korean Massage Escort Girl info

Korean Massage

Seoul and other korean city are welcome for all foreigners. Visiting Seoul may be so exhausted. If we want to find some massages and spa in Seoul, there are a lot of massage places in Seoul.

Try to Relaxing spot in seoul tower and Myondong. Seoul tower is very beautiful view.
Food is very dericias in Myondon.

Jiljinbags are great and relatively inexpensive but if you don't know the rules or speak the language it can be really difficult to understand what's going on.
My picks are the Park Hyatt (exit 1 Samsong Station) to really get the best pampering massage, complete with a foot scrub, your choice of local ingredients, and music. It's worth every cent- trully unique. Dal in Cheogndam is also outstanding, it's behind a store called Mue. If you are in the Hannam area you have the choice of Spa Day which is good value. If you are looking for a Korean style Spa try Teheran Spa it's pretty different.

Busan Nightlife nightclub Places and beach

Busan Metropolitan City, or Pusan is the largest port city in the Republic of Korea. It is known also as "Rio De Janeiro of South Korea", because it has beautiful seashores and ports. Busan (Pusan) is Korea's second largest city with close to 4 million people. It also serves as the country's main port for international cargo, as well as passenger ferries to Japan and Jeju Island. The city is famous for its seafood and beaches, as well as the Hallyosudo Waterway with its picturesque islands

Busan has a lot of wonderful nighlife places. In many parts of the city, you can find big Nightclubs in the Korean style. This usually means you are expected to have a table, and usually must order anju (side dishes) with your drinks. They tend to insist on proper dress (no tank tops, ratty clothes, etc.) and tend to be a bit pricey. Sometimes they have lip-synch bands, 'animators', or some other stage entertainment. There is of course a lot of dancing, usually with the people you came with although it is possible to meet people.

The Korean nightclub scene, like the general social scene in Korea, leans toward established groups and not so much free mingling as Westerners may be accustomed to. Feel it out. There have been cases of foreigners being ejected from nightclubs for dressing too 'down' or being a little too aggressive in their social advances. On the other hand, you can meet many Koreans who will be happy to make a new friend, buy you a drink, or spin around the floor with you.

Busan's close proximity to the ocean give it milder winters than other places in Korea, enabling people to enjoy the night life in more comfort than other areas. As a major port of call for international shipping, the harbor area has a thriving district that caters to the thousands of sailors and other visitors who pass through each year. Busan's younger generation frequents the "3 daes" of Busan: Haeundae, Taejongdae, and Pusandae (the Korean name for Pusan National University).

Busan favourite Night Life , Busan Spa, Busan Beach are listed here :
